Eggless Black forest Cake


Eggless Black forest Cake-
without oven












Ingredient:

1 ½ cup maida
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 cup powder sugar
1/3 cup butter
½ cup oil
1 cup milk
1 ½ vanilla essence

 For Icing:

4oo ml cream(I used amul cream)
5 tbsp icing sugar
1 ½ cup chopped cherries
15 whole cherries
1 ½ cup grated dark chocolate
1 ½ vanilla

Method:

For cake
1.Place paper in the baking pan than grease butter/oil on all sides of 8” round baking pan.
2.In a bowl mix maida, baking powder, baking soda  and cocoa powder.
3.In another bowl,beat butter and sugar .
4.Add oil in the butter mixture.
5.Add flour mixture  into butter mixture and mix well than add milk and mix it.
6.Preheat oven at 170C .
7.Pour the batter into greased pan and bake 35mins or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
8.Remove from oven and cool down on wire rack for 2 hour or to cool completely.

For icing
1.Cut  cake into 3 round slices.
2.Drain the cherries from the syrup in the tin and reserve the syrup.
3.Remove the seeds of cherries and measure 1 ½ cup cherries and cut it into 4 pieces.
4.Refrigerate the cream for 5 hour or until chill.
5.Pour the cream in a chill bowl and whip the cream until soft peak form.
6. Add icing sugar and essence and whipped until stiff peaks form. Do not over beat as you will end up with butter.
7. Take a 10 inch square card board and cover with aluminum foil.
8.Place 4 paper strips on the covered card board as shown in the photo.
 9 . Now place one slice of cake on card board.
10.Brush the slice with cherry syrup.
11.Add whipped cream and spread it evenly on the cake.
12.Arrange half cherries on the cream.
13.Place the 2nd slice of cake on the cherries.
14.Again do it same.
15.Now place last slice of cake and brush it with the syrup.
16.Cover the whole cake with whipped cream and reserve 1 cup cream for decoration.
17.Flat the cream with large knife.
18.Place the grated chocolate on top (In middle ) and side walls of cake.
19. Remove paper strips from the bottom of the cake
20.Add whipped cream in piping bag and add star nozzle in it.
21.Decorate the cake with round flower and place a cherry in the centre of each flower.
22.Chill the cake until serving time.


Note:
You can make this cake on gas/with out oven as I show in egglesspineapple updown cake.
