Palak Paneer recipe


Palak Paneer recipe

 


 

 

 

Ingredient:

 

½ kg palak
250 gm paneer
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 onion ,fine chopped
1 tomato , fine chopped
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 pinch of  asafoetida
¼ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp haldi
½ tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp dry kasuri methi leaves
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Method:

 

1.Wash the spinach and add water in a pan and boil  spinach  for 3-4 mins .
2.Drain the water and add the leaves in the bowl fill with cold water.
3.puree the spinach in grinder.
4.Make a smooth puree.
5.Heat oil in the pan and add onion ,sauté for 2mins .
6.Add ginger-garlic pasta and fry till golden,
7.Add asafetida, cumin seeds, chilli and haldi and mix well.
8.Add tomato and sauté for 5 mins.
9.Now add kasuri methi and garam masala .
10.Add spinach puree.
11.Add water if require and boil on low flam for 6-8 mins.
12.Add paneer and salt and cook for 5mins.

Serve hot and top with some butter or cream.

                                    add tomato

                             Add kasuri methi
                             Add palak puree

                           Add paneer and boil it
                                                      ready to serve
