Sizzler is a combination of a main dish served with a choice of sauces and a large variety of accompaniments, making it a complete meal itself. Sizzler originated a few centuries ago Where Japanese sizzle small portion of meat on a heated iron plate.Someone improved it by putting a steak and veggies. Today however, they have a cuisine of sorts by themselves as many specialty restaurants serve only sizzler in their menu. Sizzler consists an entire meal being served on a cast iron plate which is placed on a wooden base tray and serve sizzling to your table. They not only keep the food very hot but also add aroma and more style to the presentation .Sizzler plates are available in different shapes
Today I prepared veg sizzler with hot soya chilli sauce .I Added fried rice, stir fry veggie and cutlet in this sizzler and top with hot sauce. It consist 5 parts . So lets begin to start

5.Plating the sizzler
2 tsp butter
1 cup cubed capsicum (red,green,yellow)
1 onion cut in cubs
1 cup fried pane(I used tofu)
¼ cup blanched French beans
¼ cup blanched carrot cut into julienne
½ tsp salt
1 ½ tbsp. tomato sauce
3-4 boiled potato
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp Salt
1 cup bread crumbs
3 tbsp Cornflour
¼ cupt water
Oil for shallow fry
For Soya Sauce:
1 tsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 ½ tbsp. red chilli sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
1 ½ cup water
1 tsp oil
1/2 cup chopped spring onion
10-12 cabbage leaves
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp water
chopped spring onion for garnish
1.Peel and mash the boil potato
2.Add red chilli powde and salt and mix well.
3.Make a small size ball and give the cutlet shape to it.
4.In a bowl,mix corn flour and water.
5.Dip the cutlet in corn flour mixture than roll it in bread crumbs.
6.Do same with all cutlets.
7.Heat the oil in the pan.
8.Place the cutlet in pan and shallow until crisy crust .
9.Place all tikki on the paper napkin.
1.Heat the butter in pan.
2.Add onion and capsicum and sauté for 2 mins.
3.Add blanched beans and carrot and mix well.
4.Add fried paneer ,salt and tomato sauce and toss it .
5.Turn off the pan and keep aside
Soak cabbage leaves in hot water for 10 mins .
1.Heat the pan, Add oil and garlic and sauté for 1 mins.
2.Add soya sauce,tomato sauce and chilli sauce and mix well
3.Add water ,sugar and salt and mix well.
4.Mix ½ cup water with corn flour and pour in the pan and mix well for 2 mins for sauce consistency.
5.Add spring onion and mix well .turn off the flam
Plating the Sizzler:
1.Now all things are prepared.
2.Switch on the flam and place the iron plate on the flam for 10 mins.
3.When plate became very hot , turn to low flam and spread the cabbage leave on plate.
4.Cover the plate properly with cabbage leaves.
5.In the middle, place hot fried rice.
6.In one side, place Stir fry veggies and place tikki in another side.
7.Pour hot sauce on the plate.
8.In a bowl,mix oil and water and pour the oil mixture on the sides of the plate for sizzling touch.
With the help of cloth place hot iron plate on the wooden tray .
